Thanks DBOF !!

I just wanted to make a thread on here giving a HUGE thank you and kudos to Brad and Jan at DBOF- My (now) fiance & I visited the store over the summer and Jan was extra helpful- spending about 45 min talking to us/ educating us about diamonds, settings, etc.

My fiance ended up getting the diamond from elsewhere, but had the setting made by Brad, and it turned out beautifully! He said you guys were great to work with and we couldn’t be happier- THANK YOU!!!

Corey was only in town from Sat- Mon and we had such a LONG list of things already planned that it would’ve made even a wedding planner cringe! In the middle of my rushing about grabbing last minute accessories (as women do- looking for shoes, hairclips, etc.) he just grabbed my hand and stopped me and said something along the lines of, “Before we head out and see everyone- I’d like if you were wearing this.” At which point he got down on one knee and proposed- and of course I said YES! (sorry I can’t remember exact words- it was sort of one of those surreal-Is this happening? moments). And after laughing/crying/ more laughing we embarked on that list of things to do- saw family and broke the good news, eventually went downtown and had a great time along Michigan Ave, AND even headed out to some downtown Halloween parties of friends. We stayed at a hotel right off Michigan Avenue, and early Sunday morning went to tailgate with friends/ the Bears game, (and they WON!) The rest of his time here we spent visting more family/ friends- until he had to go back to FL- where I’ll be visting in a few short weeks, then moving back to within a couple months.
