I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about making such a big purchase from someone I never met.
The internet is full of scammers trying to make a buck using fake reports and such. I was able to run across the DT forum and was able to educate myself and find a reliable dealer like Jan. We just finished another successful transaction with DBOF. We upgraded my diamond to a larger one. We received 100% credit for my original diamond and were able to upgrade to any amount that we wanted to. This was one of the many things we liked about DBOF initially. Most other companies require you to upgrade to double the original amount spent.
Once we let Jan know we wanted to upgrade, she immediately sent us info on several diamonds. We chose one and Jan sent us the diamond to view for a 7 day inspection period. This was nice because it gave us a chance to view the diamond in various lighting situations including sunlight, fluorescent light, candlelight, etc. Once we decided we wanted the diamond, we exchanged lots of e-mails discussing setting options. We had the diamond back within one week from the time we sent it to them for mounting. Brad always takes great care in setting the diamond perfectly in the mounting, which is another one of the many things we like about DBOF.
The price of the diamond was reasonable and the quality is always there. We like knowing they only offer great diamonds to start with. They personally inspect each and every one and only offer the cream of the crop. This is quite valuable since you can’t choose a diamond based on numbers. A well trained eye is one of your best resources.
We have found DBOF to be honest and offer really beautiful diamonds at a fair price.
The new diamond is an absolute stunner and is showcased beautifully in the elegant mounting.

I recently received a Gelin-Abaci tension ring from DBOF. It totally exceeded expectations in any way imaginable. I'm in Michigan and had to order this ring sight unseen, and had to be convinced to jump into this internet diamond buying on a leap of faith. Even though you have access to the greatest selection of diamonds online, it seems to contain a potential minefield of issues. If you're new to this gig, the sad truth is that no one can tell you the BEST THING TO DO. You have to make up your own mind on:
1) Who you trust for a fair deal
2) What you're really expecting to get out of it
Thankfully DBOF has gone the extra step of providing BrillianceScope reports for their gems. While its not a perfect system I would consider it a valuable tool for painting a better picture of a stone that may be hundreds of miles away locked in some vault. Even with return guarantees, you may be paying $50 for your Insured Fedex return. This is an expensive way to window shop!
DBOF was helpful in determining the best options for me and I ended up with a beautiful stone that knocks the socks off of anything I've seen locally in the same price range.

I started my diamond search at mall stores, one dishonest local jeweler, BlueNile.com, and UnionDiamond.com. Luckily I found DBOF. I emailed Jan my specifications; the next day she replied back with a couple things I was interested in. I was stubborn and unknowledgable, trying to see if BlueNile or Union could save me a buck for a similar diamond. Boy was I wrong!
I had the chance to visit their Melbourne store about a month into my shopping. Brad spent an hour showing me four different stones and several setting, using a microscope, a loop, a heart-and-arrows viewer. He even showed me gemologist techniques for comparing diamond color. The shop closed, but Brad continued to talk with me for an hour after closing. He gave me tons of info.
I finally found a setting I wanted by a designer DBOF sells, but they don't make the setting any longer, and they never offered it in 18kt white gold. Jan called the designer personally and convinced them to custom make a setting from their existing molds, in the metal and finish I wanted. 8 weeks later, Jan called to ship the ring. It was overnighted USPS, registered and insured. Amazing ring, amazing service.
Trust these people...they do not want to swindle you!!! There is no need to haggle on price, because I checked most everyone else. They only offer to sell you wonderful diamonds, and they sell them at prices even with their wholesale competition. The knowledge and service they provide is invaluable, and they are the most honest jewelers I have met. A 3-month search for the perfect diamond ring could have been saved if I would have trusted DBOF from the start.

We had spent the last 4 and 1/2 years searching for a branded Royal Asscher diamond locally and on-line when I learned of DBOF through various chat rooms and message boards. Skeptical to purchase a stone over the internet, from a vendor outside of my own state, at a price that seemed too good to be true, I tried numerous searches to find a negative posting or an unhappy customer in relation to DBOF. There simply weren't any to be found. So, we put our faith in Jan, and we're so glad we did! We took the diamond to our local jewler to select a mounting (in hind-sight, we should have done this through DBOF as well!), the jewler kept trying to convince us to purchase a similar
diamond and mouting through him--saying that he'd cut us a deal. We explained that we did not believe he would be able to compete with DBOF's price, and with three or four tries, he didn't even come close. DBOF's professionalism, prices, and care for their customers outranks any shopping experience I've had--making our 4 1/2 year search definitely worth the wait. Put any hesitation aside. You will not do better than DBOF!

I purchased a Gelin-Abaci tension set ring (TR-045) in 14kt yellow gold with a .72 ct. VS1 G Ideal cut round diamond. It's simply lovely. The stone is like white fire, and this particular setting holds the diamond aloft and exposes it from every angle. It's quite something. This was a 5th wedding anniversary gift for my wife and the ring has cemented an already good marriage even more closely.
Jan was so easy-going and happy to work with. Brad was a really nice guy to talk to, and gave some good advice that the beauty of a particular diamond is more than the sum of its specifications (cut angles, table size, etc.). Some may raise an eyebrow at making such a large purchase from a company over the Internet: good for you, be careful and be smart! But I would suggest that you have no trepidation in purchasing from DBOF. They've had a stable business for many years and it appears from reading the comments of others (both here and in other online forums) that I am just one of many *very* satisfied customers.

I decided to have my emerald cut solitaire remounted in a Gelin-Abaci tension mount for my ten year wedding anniversary (I'd been lusting after tension mountings since seeing them a month after receiving my engagement ring!) The local jeweler who handles Gelin-Abaci didn't seem to know much about the settings and gave me a price that seemed rather high. So I decided to do some research on the internet and that's when I kept reading about Jan at DBOF. I bought a pair of round brilliant diamond studs from DBOF a couple of weeks ago and a friend brought them back for me from the States.
DBOF has FABULOUS customer service. It was the first time purchasing diamonds off the Internet for me and I was very apprehensive buying stones unseen, in addition to that I did not reside in the U.S. However I was also very discouraged by the high prices in the B&M shops here. I actually emailed another vendor, but Jan was the fastest and most consistent in replying. She sent me pictures of the AGS reports, brilliancescope reports and loose stones. She also answered the many questions I had and did not get impatient at all when I kept bugging her. Ü
I am really happy with the earrings and the quality of the stones. I would have had to pay 60% or more above the amount for the same here. Everyone who has seen the earrings so far thinks the size of the earrings are larger than they actually are and that they give off a lot of fire and light. It has been a great experience buying from DBOF and I would definitely like to do so again when the opportunity arises.

I was skeptical initially of buying a diamond over the internet. DBOF made the experience so easy and relaxed, it went beyond my expectations. Jan and Brad were very patient as they brought in numerous stones so they could examine them for me. I changed my mind a few times on budget, size and type of stone. They took the time to send me multitudes of photos, reports and answered my questions verbally and via emails sometimes within minutes.
The stone and setting are quite amazing. I/we purchased a 1.62 H/Si1, round brilliant Ideal cut and Brad set the fireball in a DVatche Royal Crown setting. My finance was/is over the moon with this brilliant stone, as it sparkles, shimmers and is quite stunning even in minimal lighting. I was quite taken aback the first time we placed the diamond in direct sunlight. The best way to describe the diamond is it radiates light and color like a mini prism.
We went to numerous brick and mortar jewelry shops as we decided what type of stone my GF wanted just as a preliminary search. Comparing the stone we bought at DBOF to what we viewed at the mall stores was no contest. Hands down in a complete rout, the WINNER was DBOF. I wish I would have done business with DBOF at Xmas, as I bought my girlfriend a pair of diamond studs at a local jewelry shop. That was a big mistake on my part as those stones just don’t have the pizzazz or the value compared to the stone purchased at DBOF. Live and learn, but my next jewelry purchase will be with DBOF. They have earned a repeat future customer and will always receive referrals from us.
Seriously, do yourself a favor if you are in the market for jewelry/diamonds and DO NOT hesitate to do business with DBOF. They will guide you in making the best selection, at a great price with quality that will turn heads. They also are real nice people and I would give them a 5 star rating.

I just received my wedding ring, and the diamond is twice as nice as anything I saw in any upper scale jewelry store. When I asked the mall guys if they had excellent cut diamonds, they all looked at me like I was crazy. Cut is king, and this diamond sparkles twice as bright as any of the "good" cut diamonds I saw.
I bought my diamond from the internet because it was the only place I could find really good diamonds, that were not priced over $10,000.
I bought from this site because they were always the quickest to respond to my inquires, and gave great advice on their inventory. My ring just appraised for almost twice what I paid.
Here is some good advice. Buy your from this site. Not only will you pay less, but you will get higher quality. If you absolutely feel that this is not the case, return the diamond.

My boyfriend Scott and I got in touch with Jan and Brad in August after local searches for a princess cut made us discouraged.
Scott was initially hesitant of buying off the Internet, but he soon warmed to the idea, thanks mostly to Jan and Brad. Jan was also ready, willing and able to talk and help, responded to emails within minutes and was always pleasant to talk to. She never pushed, always had great suggestions and made me feel like I was her only customer.
We picked a Brilliant Fire princess cut and had it shipped to our home for viewing. The minute we opened the box we were in love. It was obvious how much more lively this diamond was than any other we had seen.
After a trip to an appraiser to verify the stone was what Jan and Brad said it was, we decided to buy the stone.
But our journey with Brad and Jan did not end there.
I spend the next few weeks talking with Jan about possible settings and she sent me picture after picture of ideas. We decided on a setting and Jan hand picked my four side stones.
Brad's work on the setting is beautiful. The ring is a piece of art. He even re-did the center prongs after realizing they were set too high.
I finally got the ring on Nov. 2 when Scott officially proposed after I finished the New York Marathon.
The only thing I remember about that whirlwind moment is saying, "that thing is huge!" when I saw the ring.
My sister's boyfriend looked at the ring later that day and said: "You need sunglasses to look at that thing!"
I get compliments everywhere I go.
This ring is so much more beautiful than I expected. It is blindingly white in my office, sparkles like mad in the dark andis full of rainbows in sunlight.
I plan to go through Jan and Brad for my wedding band and any other diamond jewelry I buy over the years.

If you are looking for a great diamond talk to Jan, you will also save yourself a lot of time and you will get a great deal. I had spent several months researching diamonds and visiting the many stores and dealers here in New York City before I contacted Jan, and I would have saved a considerable amount of time if I had contacted her earlier.
Jan was immediately able to send me information on a fantastic stone that she had at the store which met my exact specifications. More information than I usually got from visiting other dealers in New York in person. Virtually perfect cut, superb brilliance, centrally clean and much better value for money than what I had previously seen.

I found DBOF on the Internet, but since I live in the area...I visited the showroom. Jan was very helpful, knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time helping me select the perfect diamond for my fiance's ring.
I was impressed by the equipment she had available to view the diamond's cut and clarity, and she gave me a very good education on the importance of the cut. The price was very competitive, but the quality for the price was exceptional. I purchased a wonderful .662 AGS000 VS1 F round brilliant from Jan at a fair price. The diamond has met my high expectations and reaffirms the great reputation dbof has on the online forums. In short: I'm happy...I did my homework, spending hours and hours learning about diamonds, settings, and jewelers (both Brick and Mortar as well and internet). Places like diamondtalk and pricescope were very helpful, and I even emailed people who had left comments here. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say about Diamond Brokers of Florida.
More about my experience: I wanted a princess cut, with certain table and depth percentages as well as color and clarity specs. Jan immediately had a few stones that fit my criteria. I kept looking, but hands down decided that DBOF's diamond was the best for me, and at a good price. Jan was great about emailing info like the GIA and other reports. She also helped arrange the appraisal with an independent company. I had the stone appraised by someone again (local) and it was all good. Maybe I overdid it with 2 appraisals, but I am very careful about such big purchases. My diamond experience with DBOF was 100 percent awesome.
Jan and I went through some setting ideas, and she was great about emailing photos and suggestions. I decided on a Vatche setting, but wanted a Euroshank modification (not so normal). Jan was also helpful on helping me decide the exact size.
Things took a little longer than we had hoped, but that is understandable since it was a very custom setting (it was out of her control since it was done at the Vatche shop). We also had a sizing issue, apparently a Vatche issue as well. We kept communicating throughout the process and I never felt worried that things wouldn't work out.
Those two issues are heavily overshadowed by the beauty of the diamond and the setting.
I would definitely recommend DBOF. I am now in the process of the wedding band; likely to be another vatche custom job. DBOF is my number one place.

I am about to purchase a pair of pear shaped diamonds of just over 1/2 carat each to use as accent stones for a ring I am making with a red spinel I own. I just arranged to buy the pears from Jan and Brad from whom I also bought the spinel (which glows like a red traffic light), of course!
I had bought diamonds from two other vendors on the 'net before getting to know Jan and Brad. I have no regrets about the purchases I made from those other vendors; they, also, were reputable.
I got to know Jan and Brad in March of 2000 in an on-line diamond forum, however, and have been buying happily from them ever since. I have gotten more satisfaction from them than from anyone else.
They have sold me several "small" diamonds (of .50 carats or less) as well as cultured pearl earrings and strands of cultured pearls.
As other customers have said, Jan and Brad are very honest. They offer excellent prices along with very, very courteous, friendly service. No one at Diamond Brokers of Florida will ever speak brusquely to you no matter how tired he is or how bad a day he has had.
Jan and Brad are completely trustworthy and lovely to work with.

In my opinion, what sets DBofFL apart is the attention to customer service. Jan helped me find a beautiful princess with great fire, and a super platinum setting. I just want to say that my experience with DB was a very satisfying one! I was very apprehensive about spending so much money on something I did not see with my own eyes first, but I can assure you that after I wired the money my diamond arrived the next day, just as promised (very securely and privately wrapped and boxed) and was absolutely stunning! I started off by taking a trip to a well known “commercial” jewelry store chain. After staring at diamonds for about 30 minutes with this annoying sales lady giving me every line in the book, I still wasn’t happy with what I was seeing. You're probably reading this because like me at the time, what you are contemplating doing seems very risky. Well, I bought a diamond engagement ring from DBOF and am very pleased with their sterling service and words cannot express the joy my fiancée displayed when she opened the box.
My search for a diamond started near where I worked in London (UK). I had no idea of what diamonds were and how much they cost. I would spend lunchtimes visiting the famed 'Hatton Garden' shops but I was shocked to see how expensive diamonds were. I quickly smarted my knowledge on the 4 C's and asked my friends how they got their 'rock'. Never in my mind did I intend to buy such an important and precious item over the internet, I only used the wealth of information to help me understand what made a diamond desirable, but I stumbled on DBOF's website, which had a user-friendly search option. I immediately found the C's which fit my requirements and was amazed to see how much more affordable the jewels were than in the local shops. It just shows how profit orientated this industry is and how a little effort will pay off handsomely. Even at this point, I was still weary and began researching more about DBOF and found so many compliments about their service on chat sites such as diamondtalk.com. I dug up the courage and called DBOF to ask about a particular stone. Jan is the perfect diamond salesperson. She made me feel at ease straight away and her gemological knowledge is astounding. The best thing about it was that buying a diamond has an incredible personal experience and I felt that everytime I spoke to her, she shared that feeling. I did not feel pressured at all, and all my questions no matter how simple were answered very quickly. She also helped me in understanding about cut for the particular shape I was looking for and even helped me search for a stone which had these 'ideal' dimensions.
Another big worry for me was delivery of the ring. I needed the ring in seven days when I put the order in and somehow, it arrived earlier than I expected! Considering they had to get the diamond delivered to the shop, run the various tests, mount the stone, deliver it overseas and to do all this over the Easter weekend, I am more surprised how quickly it was all done and can only congratulate Jan and Brad on their sterling work (as well as FedEx who worked on Easter Sunday!)
In summary I have had a great experience buying my diamond ring from DBOF and I will not hesitate buying from them again. Thank you for all your effort Jan and Brad. I hope to speak to you all again soon.

I emailed Jan at Diamond Brokers of Florida who was extremely helpful in finding the diamond I was looking for. I had specs, pictures, a copy of the cert, brilliance scope, and a sarin analysis emailed to me almost immediately. I already had more information about the diamond than I did at any B&M store, or other online store. It was clear after a few emails that Jan really is interested in finding the perfect diamond for someone and not just making a sale. She was very responsive to all of the emails and questions I had. When I wasn’t sure of a setting, she emailed me with several settings and had several on her web site for me to choose from. Once I decided on a diamond and setting that I liked, I decided to place the order with Jan. She was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful. I was informed throughout the entire process, which made me feel very comfortable. I received the ring last week and it is beautiful. Before it was shipped Jan sent me the tracking number and some pictures. The ring arrived triple boxed and in a very nice case. The ring is gorgeous and is very sparkly. The diamond is set very nicely as well. Jan & Brad spent a lot of time not only on helping me find the diamond/setting I was looking for, but also on setting the diamond.

Diamond brokers is soooo impressive with their diamond documentation, quality and prices!!! I was stunned by how NONE of my local mall or stand alone Jewelers had a single ounce of certification or documentation to back up the majority stones they offered which cost vastly more. Plus my local jewelers stones looked like they should be used for drill bits instead of high end jewelry:)! We also tried Blue Nile online, but Diamond Brokers still beat them on the value and documentation. Jan was wonderful in selecting a beautiful G, 1.28ct., SI1, diamond for my finaceé's engagement ring. We worked cross country from California to Florida and it was easier than any in-store experience, Jan is a pleasure to work with via phone and email as she will send information, GIA certs and digital photos quite often within a few minutes of my sending an email question. The diamond appraiser who did the insurance appraisal could not believe the price paid for the diamond and setting. I would highly recommend D.B. Note: it was my experience that D.B. will not go back and forth with prices, they give you the lowest price they can and that is it. The ring is stunning, lots of fire and light --- the stone looks to be MUCH HIGHER clarity than VS2 -- more like a VVS2! The Platinum/WG also helps the wonderful cut make this stone absolutely white-looking! The cut is so fine that the arrow heads are quite clean and beautiful, and the light return is stupendous. Well, this referral is long over due. I actually bought a wonderful princess diamond from DBOF about a month ago(G,VS1,1.10ct.) Of course, I can't say enough!! The diamond was just stunning, the service was perfect and the price was absolutely unbelievable!
I did research for about 6 months on princess cut stones and had a general idea of what I wanted. All I did was e-mail Jan and she sent me her recommendation and there it was!!! The (on paper) stone I had been looking for... She sent me the Brilliancescope report, the Sarin Analysis, the GIA report and 3 pictures of the stone. Now all I had to do was see it in person! So, I had Jan send me the stone and when I opened the overnight box I was completely stunned!! I had looked at sooo many princess cuts in local jewelry stores and this one was unbelievable! For like 4 hours I just kept going from room to room looking at the stone in different lighting (Sunlight was my fav.!) So, I brought the stone to the jeweler who I bought my setting & band from to get the stone set.(This stone was actually a college graduation/anniversary present from my husband) I go to pick up the ring and the jeweler takes me to the side and asks me where I got the stone and how much did I pay for it? I told him and he was floored... He said he couldn't get that kind of quality stone out of his store for near the price! (The stones I looked at in his store were mostly cut deep, which is something I was very picky about & didn't want...) So, I definitely send my highest regards to DBOF! It really couldn't have gone any better. :)

I bought a tension ring by Gelin & Abaci along with the diamond from Jan and Brad.
The service was amazing, the email responses were quick and to the point; Jan provided me with complete analysis, information, and certificates for the stone. I had a very short deadline, and the stone had to be shipped across the country to be set by Gelin and Abaci first. Everyting went flawlessly.

Jan was wonderful. I had already puchased the mounting when I started talking to Jan about the diamond. She found a wonderful princess cut stone that blew me away. I bought the diamond and had them hold on to it for me until the time was right. I then sent them the mounting and Brad did a great job setting the stone.
I popped the question this weekend and she and everyone else loved the ring. The only bad thing is that I know people think I spent a fortune on the diamond, but I really spent a lot less than they think, but I won't complain.

Yes . . . I must admit I was apprehensive about purchasing a diamond off the Internet. Although, the return policy at Diamond Brokers of Florida put my mind to ease.
I received my AGS 1.12, E, VS2 diamond with the AGS certification & had the diamond appraised by
my jeweler. The diamond appraisal was more than $ 4,000 more than what I had purchased it from
DBOFL. I was thrilled!! Of course, I was more thrilled that everything matched up with the AGS
report & certificate.

Well, to make a very long story somewhat shorter, I began my internet diamond search
about six months ago. My knowledge of diamonds was by no means great. In fact, I
almost made a few huge money mistakes early on with other vendors. But after spending
numerous hours studying diamonds from books and the net, I found
www.diamondtalk.com. (an excellent source for diamond information). I was referred to

I wanted to write a few words about my experience with Jan & Brad of Diamond Brokers of Florida. I had spent many months of researching diamonds and trying to find the best route to go to buy one. Finally, I settled on the large online jewelers figuring I'd get the best deal there. Lucky for me, on day I stumbled across diamondtalk.com and became intrigued by some of the smaller (less advertised) online vendors there. After reading many threads and customer testimonials I finally decided that I'd give Jan & Brad a shot.
Boy, am I happy I did! Not only did I end up with an AMAZING diamond at an excellent price, but the personalized service is great. I must've emailed Jan 30+ times over the course of a few weeks. The best diamonds (Cut, Clarity, Color, Carat) at the best price with the best people to deal with. The diamond that I just purchased for my wife is unbelieveably beautiful. Our four year search for a diamond ended today when we received the engagement ring Rick ordered from Jan and Brad. Rick proposed tonight and now I am wearing an absolutely breathtaking pear-shaped diamond ring. It is exactly what I wanted and even larger and more beautiful than I imagined.
Like most people, we were hesitant to make such a large purchase over the Internet. As it turned out we ended up getting a higher quality and larger diamond for a lower price than we found anywhere else. And, as strange as it may sound, buying over the Internet from Jan was a much more personal experience than we had in any of many brick and mortar jewelry stores we shopped in. We dealt with Jan both via e-mail and the telephone and she was great! She searched for the perfect diamond for us and answered all of our questions expeditiously. At Diamond Brokers of Florida we received great service, a great product, and a great price! Jan and Brad are the best.

I ordered an emerald cut 4.38 ct. total weight engagement ring from Diamond Brokers. It was a large investment so I was leary doing this over the internet. I did a lot of research with different jewelers and they were the only ones that would actually fed/ex the diamonds to me 1st before they were mounted. That eased my mind and the ring turned out absolutley gorgeous. Jan is great to work with. Very prompt and on the ball. We must have emailed each other 50 times over the course of 2 months before it was delivered on 02/26/02.

I bought a stone from Diamond Brokers of Florida last week after spending weeks exchanging emails with Jan. She was just "super" to deal with. She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole thing. And she was able to provide me with detail information on any of the stones I was interested in. My questions and concerns were always responded promptly. It was just a very pleasant buying experience.

I just received my princess diamond from the mail. It is absolutely fabulous. One word about Jan: very personal. We exchanged about 30+ emails in the past 2 weeks and she was very responsive (no longer than 1-2 hours.) And I finally realized that even though I'm shopping on the internet, I can still get that personal-touch of a sales person. The final trasaction was quick too! I wired the funds yesterday at noon, and I got my stone today at noon! Well, I found my perfect stone with the cheapest price I can find on the internet. Thankyou Jan!

I recently purchased a diamond from DBOSF and couldn't be happier. They answered all my questions and provided me with a lot of important information on the stone ie.., Sarin report, Brillianscope, and Lab Cert. I was not once hesitatnt to buy from the "internet" even though a lot of people told me I should be, because Jan and Brad were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. I took the diamond to a jeweler to mount and everybody would have to come by and look at the diamond because it was so "brilliant," "sparkly," "beautiful," "well cut" and so forth. Diamond Brokers of Florida - Most Definitely. After several weeks and countless hours of visiting the finest stores I decided to venture into the web. After spending more hours than I care to remember bouncing from site to site for comparisons and questions I utlimately decided that there is not a better place for a diamond purchase than Diamond Brokers. The hospitality, courteous service and honesty exhibited by Diamond Brokers was unsurpassed. I recently purchased my future wife’s' engagement ring from DBOF. Jan was fantastic. I was very hesitant at first, but after reading all the good reference's, etc. I decided to give them a try. I must say I am so glad I did.

I was looking for a pair of diamond earrings and willing to spend up to $5K for them. The ones I saw in the major diamond stores in the DC area had a much lower quality/price ratio than I was willing to accept. Turning to the Internet, I explored many well-known, well-marketed diamond/jewelry sites (ashford, mondera, etc.). I also explored other sites less-well known generally, but with reputations for selling very high quality diamonds, in particular, those with large inventories of AGS 000 ideals. One of these, DBoF, had a very loyal following among the experts at diamondtalk.com and seemed to have one of the largest inventories of high quality stones at equal or better prices than any other site. Their reputation among experts eased my concerns about buying diamonds without being able to see them in advance from a company I hadn't previously heard of. I decided to go with them.
Jan Roshto at DBoF is a great example of outstanding customer service. She was responsive (never took more than a hour to reply to an email), helpful (e.g., able to provide me with copies of the certs by email), and able to get me the diamonds I wanted (AGS 000s, G, VS2, 57 pts each) in a specific non-standard setting (3-prong) within my very short timeframe (2 days), and at an excellent price.
I'll certainly return to DBoF for future diamond purchases and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for the best quality stones at reasonable prices.

I heard of DBOF in a forum at diamondtalk.com. I had
had a very difficult search to find the quality of
diamond I wanted with the precise Ideal cut I was
looking for. I had 4 dealers checking their inventories
and the available stones on rapnet. After many weeks
of searching I had found only 2 diamonds that met my
specifications. One call to DBOF found me 2 more in
just a few minutes. Jan didn't just send me the Sarin
data, she sent a full package of info, even including
BrilliantScope and H&A pictures. Even better, her
price was better than any other online dealer. The
one we purchased at DBOF was phenomonal. For the same

As a regular consumer looking for an engagement ring stone I had my reservations about getting a diamond over the internet. I was looking at a $2,500 item that was a once and a lifetime purchase. I did my best to get "informed" and decided I was going to go after the best cut .75 diamond I could get. Jan Roshto was very helpful finding a stone that was exactly to my requirements. After speaking to her on the phone some of my hesitation subsided, and the 7 day money back promise was a plus. Between the AGS triple 0 cert. and the brilliance scope results, and the nearly $800 in savings compared to local jewelers; I decided to give the internet wire transfer a try. It all went perfectly. The stone was just what I wanted, and the price was the least of any internet site I visited (and I checked at least 10 sites). My experience with DBOF was absoulutely fantastic. I received my Verragio engagement ring almost one week ago and I'm still speechless! My fiancee and I began doing research on the internet as well as in the local jewelry stores. This process was long becoming tedious and frustrating until I came across Diamond Brokers of Florida. After learning of DBOF in DiamondTalk.com, I decided to visit Brad and Jan. I drove over to Melbourne from Tampa . . .and it was well worth the trip!

I recently purchased a beautiful lucida-style ring (from the Vatche line) and wonderfully-cut .75 carat E, S1 square radiant from Jan and Brad at Diamond Brokers of Florida. My purchase was somewhat complicated -- for the reasons I describe below -- but I ended up with an excellent (and hard to find) stone and service that was absolutely unparalleled. I am not speaking in hyperbole. The attention Jan paid to me was more than I would expect from a even the most attentive local jewlerer, and she provided this from 2000 miles away (I'm in New York). After researching my diamond purchase extensively, I can say with great confidence that I could not find a better stone, or better price, or better service anywhere. Jan and Brad have earned my trust for a lifetime.
What did they do that was so wonderful? First, I'm a detail-oriented pesky customer, asking many questions. Jan always e-mailed back immediately, and was available on the telephone the one time I called. Second, they went out of their way to find me a beautiful stone. When I arrived at the web site I found a radiant that looked nice on-line and clicked that I wanted it. Most retailers would have taken the easy sale. Jan and Brad, however, did not. Instead, Jan pointed me to a better cut stone with a GIA certificate for _less_ money. When I then explained to Jan the importance of a very square radiant (I didn't like sharp princess corners) she suggested a number of options, including a Flanders cut (basically a round cut that has been squared-- with most of the sparkle of a round-- very beautiful).
Jan brought the Flanders into their store from the cutter and immediately e-mailed me photos, a sarin analysis, and brilliancescope results (which were great). I had the stone shipped to David Atlas for an appraisal (he's an expert on fancy cuts) and he said it was one of the nicest square stones he'd ever seen.
This alone would be excellent service. But what happened next was truly extraordinary. I had the stone in my possession (DB of Florida gives you 7 days review before charging your credit card) and told Jan I wanted to buy it, and then sent it back to her through the U.S. mail (insured) to be set. My timing could not have been worse. I'm in New York, and it was two days after the trade center disaster. Mail service was disrupted and the Flanders didn't arrive in Florida. I waited three weeks and then became desperate-- I needed the ring for a surprise at our wedding, to be held the next week in Croatia! I couldn't just buy another stone because what if the Flanders later arrived? I couldn't afford two diamonds. What was I too do-- I would give my fiance a CZ at the wedding I decided, and the real ring only later, after we got back either found the Flanders or ordered something else.
Throughout this episode Jan was patient and helpful. And then she went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me with my dillema. She found a wonderful square radiant for and agreed to set in and send it. If the Flanders eventually turned up, I could return whichever stone I wanted! She didn't have to do this, but she did, and as a result I was able to surprise my wife with a beautiful diamond "marriage ring" (we're non-traditinal I guess) during the ceremony.
As it turned out, the Flanders showed up-- returned to sender-- when I came back to the US. A very minor problem with the address had led the overworked post office to just send it back, rather than figure it out. Jan was good to her word and agreed to take back whichever stone I wanted. My wife actually liked the radiant better (though it was a close call-- both were gorgeous stones that DB of Florida worked hard to find). So ironically, maybe it was actually lucky that the Flanders disapeared for awhile.
DB of Florida was wonderful in agreeding to take back the Flanders stone. Since this was the more expensive of the two stones, and since I wanted to thank them, I will spend the difference in price (and probably then some) on some small diamond earings. And whenever I need jewlery in my life, I will turn to them first. With this stellar quality and service, they have earned a lifetime customer.

I recently purchased a 1.40RB VVS2 E diamond from Jan & Brad. I must say i was very nervous about paying this much for a diamond but through emails Jan made things go very smoothly. I did alot of research on the internet and Jan emailed the GIA cert. and other tests that were performed on the diamond. Once i wired the money i was notified i would receive it the next morning along with the tracking number. I was so excited that the diamond came earlier than the time i was told which made me even more happier, i was VERY happy the way it was packaged the diamond was even more beautiful than i pictured along with original paperwork of the diamond. I am a self professed obsessive compulsive type and the internet works great for me in that regard. I was looking for a great diamond to propose. I looked locally,I went to the diamond district in New York and I searched on-line(and searched and searched) I reviewed (examined) about 50 diamonds in person and about 5,000 on the net by specifications alone. I also read three books and all in all I could have saved a lot of time by calling Diamond Brokers of Florida. The diamond Sold to me by Jan Rosto met all my picky criteria(a very fine diamond)and especially the price! All the research did help me to fully appreciate the diamond that much more. I recently purchased a pair of diamonds for stud earrings from Jan and Brad and I couldn't be happier with the diamond quality, competitive pricing and wonderful service.
I had been researching every possible aspect of diamond buying for months. I started at jewelry stores to get an idea of selection and prices - very discouraging. When I realized how little the salespeople knew about diamonds (or how little they wanted me to know), it seemed that finding an internet vendor would be best. After visiting www.diamondtalk.com (a great resource), I was ready to purchase. Diamond Brokers of Florida came so highly recommended that I decided to give them a call. Jan was always prompt, professional and straightforward. Once I made a decision, they set the stones, and I had the earrings the next morning. I never imagined diamonds could do what these do in sunlight!
The next day, I took them to be appraised. Everything matched up with the GIA grading reports. When the appraiser made all his price calculations, he gave me two prices, retail and wholesale. After doing research and looking at engagement rings for over a year at various stores my fiancé and I finally found the right place …Diamond Brokers of Florida. After reading all of the positive customer feedback they received on www.DiamondTalk.com, I knew we had to go for a drive to find out for ourselves. I am very, very particular and absolutely must see things in person before I buy them and from start to finish I think we ended up going to their store 4 or 5 times to see various stones, etc. Luckily we only live about an hour drive away from their store! My husband and I just recently celebrated our 10th anniversary. I had my heart set on getting a new ring with a large center stone to celebrate. We shopped around in our local area but couldn't find anything that we liked for the price. I began researching on the net and found diamondtalk and subsequently Diamond Brokers of Florida.
After several months of back and forth e-mails with Jan we ended up purchasing a GIA certified 1.09 VS2 E marquise center diamond with (2).13 VS2 marquises and (2).25 VS2 trillions on the side. Jan was extremely patient with me as I am a very, very picky consumer. She even went after a stone that another broker had and got it for us. Her replies were always prompt and cordial, never pushy and as I said before she has an abundance of patience.
I was very reluctant to shop over the internet as I have heard some horror stories, but I never even worried about it with Jan. From the first time I talked with her she made me feel like she was trustworthy, as well as all the glowing reviews on DiamondTalk and her own site. Armed with this confidence I took the plunge and boy am I glad I did!
The ring has had two appraisals from GIA graduate gemologists and both came out right on track with the certificate. The average of the two was 40% greater value than what we paid plus we paid no sales tax. Even if these appraisals are a bit inflated, I know that we got a great deal from my own shopping efforts in the local area as well as research over the internet. Plus, we got exactly what we wanted in terms of cut, not something a lot of retail places have information about.
Jan and Brad went out of their way to get the ring ready quickly and send it to me as I wanted it for my birthday on Aug 12. I had it the day before (on a Saturday!).
If you're hesitating about purchasing from DBOF, hesitate no more. They are the real thing!

I was originally very worried at the prospect of ordering an engagement ring online without ever seeing it. Jan made me feel comfortable with her high level of professional service and prompt replies to my countless inquiries. I visited many mall jewelers and warehouse stores in my area, and was laughed out the door when I told them I was considering purchasing online. However, seeing the difference between various stones in these stores helped me to know what type of diamond was right for me when I searched online.
Last November, I purchased a 0.9 carat VVS2, F, round brillant, hearts and arrows ideal cut stone in a 6 prong platinum setting from Jan & Brad. I had seen the same stone listed on three other sites but Diamond Brokers' prices were 3% less than the competition. After hitting several local jewelry stores with no luck, my brother (who bought an engagement ring recently himself) suggested I give Jan a call. I bought a 1.56ct BrilliantFire (tm) princess cut stone (F, VS1), along with a platinum setting with two .33 ct trillions in it. This was a major investment (for me) and was done entirely over the internet/email.
Jan was a joy to work with. She promptly and patiently answered numerous (over a dozen) emails, each containing many questions. Jan knows her diamonds. Her advice was sound, and everything she represented about her product is as she said.

Working with Jan and Brad via the internet has been a pleasure! My fiance and I purchased a stone, sight-unseen in complete confidence.
I had expected the diamond-buying process to be complicated as my fiance and I lived on different sides of the country, and also nowhere near Florida!

My search for an engagement ring started just about one year ago.
I started the search with a local custom jeweler who designed a wonderful ring.
However when it came to searching for diamonds the local jeweler fell short.
I had very specific parameters for a center princess cut diamond and two princess
side diamonds. Every diamond the local jeweler found was unacceptable and had a relatively
high price.
I tried other jewelers in the area with no luck. Almost desperately I turned to
the Internet. With a lot of research over several months I decided to contact Jan and Brad
at Diamond Brokers of Florida. Living in the San Francisco bay area, I was a bit
apprehensive dealing with a jeweler in Florida.
But from the first email and phone call to Jan this apprehension vanished. She was
wonderful to deal with and within two weeks found a beautiful center diamond that met

in the following weeks. My fiancée now has an engagement ring that exceeded her

Comments: I thought I'd drop a line to the website to thank Brad and Jan of Diamond Brokers of Florida for the gorgeous princess cut diamond and platinum setting I purchased from them.
Because I knew next to nothing about diamonds before I bought one, I checked out Diamondtalk.com. Practically every entry was beaming with references to Brad and Jan. So, I bought a book on buying an engagement ring, read it cover to cover, and called Jan. My girlfriend wanted an elegant, unique ring, similar in design to the Tiffany's Lucida. However, she refused to allow me to purchase at Tiffany's because of the absurd price mark-up. We liked the Lucida design, but I didn't want to pay a jeweler to imitate it; I wanted to get her something totally unique. So, I let Jan know what I was willing to pay and what I was looking for, and she did the rest. Jan immediately emailed me with an impressive selection of GIA certified princess cut diamonds according to my preferences, as well as a variety of very unique, quality platinum setting designs. I was extremely impressed. We worked together via email to create the perfect ring.
Long story short, Jan and I designed a beautiful, custom made ring, which was, to my relief, an easy process, considering Jan's willingness to accommodate, and her selection of diamonds and settings. I ended up with a carat and a half princess cut, VS2, colorless stone (E), no florescence, and platinum setting. Before I bought the diamond, Jan conducted a slew of tests to prove its quality and brilliance, and sent me all of the results, as well as the GIA report. It took no time at all for Brad to alter the setting to my specs, and to set the stone.
I received the ring in the mail, and took it to be appraised at a chain jewlry store in the mall. It appraised at twice the purchase price!!! The women working in the jewelry store all took turns wearing it - they raved about it, and wouldn't let me leave! The appraiser told me that I had received an incredible deal. Needless to say, I was thrilled.
My girlfriend and I leave for the Highlands of Scotland in a week, where I will propose to her on a trout stream, as we flyfish for native browns. I am certain my girlfriend will be breathless! Thanks so much, Brad and Jan.

I wanted to write a reference for your guys to let you know how thrilled my fiancee and I are with the engagement ring I purchased from Diamond Brokers of FL.
I began researching diamonds like most people these days, by reading about them on the internet. Then I went and talked to local jewlers and began to get a feel for the prices in my area. The prices in my area couldn't compete with the prices on the internet. I came to Jan looking for a nice princess cut diamond, and what she ended up finding for me was a Brilliant Fire tm. beauty. I have never seen a Princess cut with so much fire and brilliance. And it's price was much less than anywhere else. I even told her the type of mounting I wanted, and to my surprise, she had exactly what I was looking for within 10 minutes, and she sent me a picture of it to calm my fears.

While looking for a diamond, a friend pointed out to me that prices were alot cheaper online with the same if not better quality stone than I could find at local stores. So I decided to check the web, if not to find a stone, then to be educated so as to not be ripped off. After seeing the prices, I thought I should try online shopping.
I must say I was a bit sceptical to ordering a diamond online, as I could not see the store and management in person to get a sense of the store's integrity. To ease my nerves, I checked out Diamond Broker's of Florida with their regional Better Business Bureau and local Chamber of Commerce. Neither had heard of the store which made me uneasy until I checked with the state licensing agency. Upon seeing that they had been in business since 1986, the fact that neither the chamber of commerce or better business bureau had heard of the store impressed me as I am a firm believer in "no news is good news." I figured that since no one had complained over fourteen years and since most people do not take the time to leave good news, this store was a good deal.
I could not be happier with my choice. I purchased a 0.897 carat ideal cut (ideal cut for the perfect lady) SI 1 G diamond with medium blue floresence (the floresence sounded cool to me when I heard about it, so I had to have it and diamond brokers found it despite floresence not being a quality normally considered)
I would tell anyone looking at this store that they are helpful, honest, have good merchandise, and not to worry about making a big online purchase with them.

The year 2000 marked our 10th wedding anniversary. 10 years ago when we were shopping for an engagement ring, we bought what we could afford. Neither one of us wished to begin our life together in debt. We promised each other that for our 10th anniversary we would redo our rings. The time came and our budget could afford the promised purchase. I shopped and shopped, researched and researched. I even found a ring I thought I liked and then later realized I really didn't and had to begin the research and shopping all over again! The toughest part about redoing our rings is that I truly love my 10 year old custom rings. I wanted my new rings to feel just as natural to me as my old ones. I spent several months educating myself about diamonds. After I felt comfortable with the terminology and had decided what I wanted to buy, I visited several "reputable" jewelers in my area. I quickly became disenchanted with diamond shopping due to the lack of knowledge of the salespeople. I then decided that I would try the internet. I found Diamond Brokers through Diamondtalk.com and was impressed with their positive feedback, especially the comments regarding customer service.
I originally contacted Diamond Brokers inquiring about several diamonds listed on their websight. Jan responded within several hours describing a diamond that she thought I may be interested in. She gave me all of the details upfront and there was no high pressure sales tactics involved. At my request, Jan e-mailed me pictures of the diamond as well as the Hearts & Arrows viewer images, she even provided a Brilliancescope analysis. The stone was exactly what I was looking for, an AGS000 priced very competitively.
Ater deciding to take the diamond, Jan then bent over backwards helping me find a platinum setting. I e-mailed her several pictures of settings that I thought my girlfriend would like. She quickly e-mailed me pictures from the top, side, and profile of at least five settings. Needless to say she had the perfect setting too.
When the ring arrived, I was ecstatic. The center stone had more fire and brilliance than I anticipated, and the setting was exactly what I was looking for. The center stone had been mounted with great care and craftsmanship. I cannot be happier with the ring and most importantly, my fiancee loves it.

to make a long story short, i received excellent service and a great price from Diamond Brokers, and my fiance loves her ring.
the long story: i spent 3 weeks educating myself about diamonds and researching diamond prices on the net, and i'm glad i did -- i was able to present my fiance with the best possible stone i could have.
so: i bought an AGS 0 stone from brad and jan at a competitive price compared to other web brokers, plus, they provided patient and prompt customer service, which i didn't get from the other shop i was talking to. having saved so much on the stone, i was able to take the stone to a local high-end jeweler (and AGS-certified, GIA G.G. gemologist) who confirmed:
a) i received the correct stone (i found getting a laser incscription aided this process, and removed any doubt that the appraiser could switch stones on me)
b) i got it at a very fair price (30% cheaper than regular street prices, and even better compared to Tiffany's, Bulgari, and Cartier which i visited myself here in SF)
c) i saved even more, since i didn't pay tax.
but don't take my word for it. do what i did -- educate yourself, spend some time talking to jan about what you're looking for, and finally, get an independent appraisal on your purchase -- and then you'll be as confident as I am that brad and jan offer own one of the best diamond shops on the net. and they're nice people, too.

I have just completed my purchase of a lovely engagement ring for my fiancé.
I used Diamond Brokers of Florida for a number of reasons including price
and support but most importantly because the made the process easy and
removed my fears of buying over the net.
I found Jan and Brad through a web chat. The appeared knowledgeable and
helpful. They also encouraged me to learn as much as possible about
diamonds. I studied several sites for this information and when I had a base
of knowledge I approached them for details and specifics about some of the
stones they had available.
Jan particularly did a great job of helping me narrow my focus down to a few
stones that fit my budget and desires. They also helped me understand which
stones were better values. Best of all the allowed me to take the time I
needed to feel comfortable with my purchase. I then researched comparable
stones in the local market to see how the price compared.One thing that
helped remove a lot of fear for me and allowed me to do comparison shopping
was the GIA certification of the stones I was considering.
At the end of the process, I purchased a beautiful Harts and Arrows cut
stone just under 1 carat in size mounted in a very nice setting. The price
was well within my budget and I am confident it was much better value than I
would have gotten in a local retail store.
Once I made the commitment to my purchase, I waited in anticipation and a
bit of trepidation to see what I was actually getting. The real test in my
mind would come when I had the ring appraised. That said however, I was
confident because of the guarantee provided by Diamond Brokers of Florida
and the idea that they would not process my credit card for a few days
after I received the stone.
When the ring arrived, I could not have been happier. It was absolutely
beautiful. The fire and brilliance of the center stone was spectacular and
the setting was perfect. Then came the real test. I had the ring appraised

I just bought my stone after a month of combing the Internet for every last little scrap of information I could. I had a reasonably firm budget and came up with very specific characteristics for my stone. After spending a month or so just researching and learning about diamond, I set upon the task of finding a diamond. I looked at many local options, but I found it difficult to find a knowledgeable dealer that had a great prices and a good selection. That brought me to the internet. I had been reading extensively on DiamondTalk.com and selected Jan and Brad from a short list of internet candidates. They had all the qualities I was looking for from a seller – they had the patience to deal with a picky consumer like myself, the best prices around, quality diamonds, and a great knowledge of diamonds and jewelry.
Buying a diamond can be nerve racking, even more so when you buy it sight unseen. However, Jan and Brad did everything possible to ease my mind – including allowing me to send the stone to an independent appraiser before hand, sending me certificates, brilliance scopes readings, and H & A images of the diamond before hand. This on top of their trade in and 7 day return policy. All in all, the process went smoothly, and I am completely satisfied with the final product and the service.

My husband and I have been to a lot of local jewelry stores looking for a decent diamond at a reasonable price with no luck.

After doing some research on ideal cut diamonds I attempted, for several weeks, to purchase an engagement ring at independent and well as large chain (mall) jewelry stores. I was discouraged as well as angered when I realized most of the jewelry stores sales people treated their clients like uneducated idiots. Many stores' sales people didn't know of the existance of an 'ideal type' cut diamond while others asked outrageous prices for the ones they offered.

Well it's official. We got engaged this weekend! We flew back to our hometown for a romantic weekend and I proposed to her at one of our favourite spots. It was a pleasant surprise for both our parents, and they are so happy for us.

Prices in London are outrageous, so I did tons of research on the Web and found Jan and Brad.

Hey Jan,
first off, I love the stone and will be keeping it. When I took it over to
have it appraised, I opened up the case under the sun - wow! The stone and
setting looked absolutely beautiful!
You guys really run a professional operation from start to finish. I had
been looking around at local and mall (yuck!) jewelers for quite some time
before I talked with you. I knew what I wanted - I just am not comfortable
about haggling on prices. What you quoted me was more than fair, and I
decided to take the risk.
Everything arrived as expected, the paperwork was all in order, and the
diamond was carefully set in the mounting. The added touch of a return box
made me feel good about the purchase before I even saw the stone.
I took it to a local jeweler to have it appraised a few days ago. They were
immediatly impressed by the clarity of the diamond, noting only that it was
a bit deep (carrying more weight below the table than some people like).
I got the appraisal back yesterday. It appraised well above what I paid for
it, which is good... Diamond pricing has always perplexed me, and the
inflated appraisal was no suprise. whatever.
Anyway, yes - I will be keeping the stone. I'm sure my girlfriend will love
it, as I do. Thank you again for your advice and help. I won't hesitate to
do business with you guys again.

I spoke with Jan on the phone and ordered my setting right away. I was very surprised at how easy it was to get this done. I checked out the setting on the web site and it was exactly what I was looking for! The price was quite reasonable too - about 50% what I was looking at from two local mall jewelers who would have had to order the settings, and 1/3 the cost of a custom made setting. Jan was incredibly easy to talk to - very friendly and knowledgeable. She also had the ability to move faster than I thought anybody could - they are sizing the setting and changing the prongs right away - I'll have it in my hands next week!
I know everybody fears buying jewelry over the net or mail order - but if you are in a position like I was this morning - you know what you want and you need it right away - I HIGHLY recommend trying to get a hold of Jan at the Diamond Brokers.

I recently purchased a diamond from Jan and Brad at Diamond Brokers of Florida and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a diamond over the internet. By looking at many diamonds in person, asking questions on this forum, and communicating with Jan over e-mail and telephone, I was able to decide what I was looking for and locate what I wanted (1.25, F, VVS2, H&A). Jan was extremely responsive and helpful. They sold me an excellent quality diamond with all the characteristics I was looking for at what I believe to be a fair price.
Their 7-day return policy eased my fear about purchasing over the net. When I received the diamond by Fedex I immediately got it appraised and took it to some local dealers to compare it side-by-side with similar diamonds. Within a day or two, It was clear that Jan and Brad were selling me a better quality diamond at a better price.
If you're looking to buy a diamond, I can give you this advice from my own experience:
1) learn as much as you can about diamonds (particularly cut) before making a purchase.
2) Don't get frustrated - It's difficult to distinguish various colors, clarities, and cuts, but it is possible to improve with patience and practice. Seek guidance from experts, but trust your own senses too.
3) If a stone "should have been" graded G-color instead of H .. VVS2 instead of VS1 ... excellent symmetry instead of Very Good ... believe me it would have been.
4) Give Jan and Brad an opportunity to find a similar or better quality diamond at a better price.

I recently purchased a diamond engagement ring for my sweetheart from Jan and Brad.
I had spent alot of time researching what type of ring that she and I wanted, and was having a tough time finding someone that could accomidate us. It seemed that I could only find what I wanted over the internet, and I was afraid to order a diamond over the net. I was lucky, in that diamond brokers was only a 2 hour drive and worth investigating.
I brought my finace to the store and we both were very happy with the service and information that we got from both Jan and Brad. They were very attentive, and volunteered to show us things that other diamond dealers will not share with their customers. They also had a stone that we were very interested in.
Over the next few weeks we made the 2 hour drive to their store, and purchased a stone, setting, and ring and brad assembled the ring. It was wonderful to be able to pick out exactly what we were after. It was also a pleasure to have Jan and Brad helping us along the way. They were never pushy, simply offering helpful advice along the way, but ultimately allowing us to make all decisions regarding the ring.
The end result was fabulous. The ring is beautiful and my finace gets so many comments about how wonderful it is. We made sure to take a few extra business cards to share with our friends, or anyone that we meet, that is in the market for jewelry.
At this point, having dealt with them face to face, I would feel confident ordering ANYTHING from Jan and Brad over the internet without seeing it first. They were very descriptive, and told us what they really thought of the stone that we were looking at. In the long run, I almost wish that we had ordered it via the Internet to have saved us the 4 hour round trip drive every saturday. But, then again, we had such a good time talking with them about things, that the drive was worth it.
All things considdered, I give the Diamond Brokers an A+ for their service, quality, craftmanship, and honesty. It is so refreshing to find people that are so interested in what they do, people with a passion for their job. It really shows with these two!
